What was the highlight of Wilderness Hotel Nellim & Igloos
A once in a lifetime experience!
We stayed in the Aurora bubble and it was the best thing we could do to see the Northern Lights. Highly recommend, we spent hours each night watching the lights from our bedroom. Facility has everything, awesome husky sleigh experience, reindeer experience etc. Communal area has several couches and spaces to relax and read or play boardgames. Dinner and breakfast was exceptional. Staff very friendly!
No kettle in the room, that would be a nice addition. As well as a hairdryer in the sauna area.

Amazing location for northern lights !!
We saw amazing northern lights from the room itself !! It is excellent location to see northern lights and was comfortable stay , breakfast was good and location was amazing ( as the name says , into the wilderness

Winter wonderland dreams come true
Staying at this hotel is one of the best decisions we could ever make about our Finland trip. The location, the room, the facilities, all the activities, everything made staying here an absolutely fantastic experience that we genuinely can recommend to everyone. Plus, all the staff and services are exceptional. We were never tired of the food despite eating all meals there for 3 days straight!

What was the highlight of Wilderness Hotel Nellim & Igloos
Very Good
Beautiful location and nature, many varieties of activities (snowmobiling, snowshoeing, aurora hunting, etc.) with extremely nice guides (I cannot stress this enough, they were very nice :)), very clean rooms and tasteful common area to spend time comfortably. Staff was also kind and helpful. The two lakes in and outside the resort are perfect to see the Northern Lights with a very high chance of catching them. Highly recommended to all who want to experience Lapland in all its ways!
We reserved two of the same room (Wilderness Room), however, the two rooms were not the same. One had a clearly older style of bathroom than the other (tiles, vanity, etc.) and a full size window in the room. We've heard that they have been renovating and perhaps, this room was still not renovated. This normally would not have been an issue but paying the same price and getting a worse room just feels like you've been cheated on. It would be better if the prices are set accordingly.
